Novalk – NFP16072 – Clear Polyester Styrene Free Sealer
Clear, styrene-free polyester self-sealer offering robust chemical, heat and humidity resistance—ideal for high-end kitchen and bathroom cabinetry, custom millwork, and musical instruments on challenging species like zebrawood and mahogany burl. Pigmentable via Novotint using NFP16072 clear base. Mix 2% NCA934 accelerator and 2% NCP935 catalyst by volume (120-min pot life), reduce up to 20% with acetone, and apply 6–8 wet mils per coat, sanding between coats with 320-grit. With 80% solids and a 24-month shelf life, NFP16072 meets or exceeds KCMA standards for residential and commercial wood furniture.
